I've been advised to do this by the standardized response from Voodoo Lab so here goes nothing:

Hello,

I am emailing you today because I have some questions concerning the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus. I Run my pedals in a rack, through a GCX switching system. My issue is that the pedal power is in my rack but due to the short length of the cable the pedals often become unplugged when I pull the sliding drawer forward. Also there is quite the mess of wires in my pedal board. Would I be able to daisy chain my pedals. I figure I can run three chains and plug my Line 6 FM-4 separately. Also, I recently ordered an Electro-Harmonix English Muff’n, I’ve been told that the Pedal power plus doesn’t supply power to this unit. Hoewever, I figure the first four outputs would be fine as it is 9/12 volts.

Thanks,
Wednesday

Yes, you can daisy chain pedals. However, you give up the benefit of having all of your pedals isolated. The result will be some interaction and added noise. Depending on the pedals, it might be minimal degradation and tolerable, or it might get noticeably noisy. Of course you can't include negative and positive ground pedals on the same chain.

You're correct to run the FM-4 separately, it must be isolated. The EH English Muffin is a vacuum tube pedal and requires 12VAC, so you can't power it from the PP2+.

The best choice would be to mount the Pedal Power on the shelf with the pedals. If that's not possible, then you should get longer cables and keep everything isolated.

We have 24" and 36" cables in stock. We also have a 36" cable with only one end installed, so you can cut to length and install the other connector yourself. Take the cables coming from the PP to the rack shelf and bundle them together with nylon zip ties to clean up the mess.

Let us know any questions and thanks for posting!
