Right voltage output for EHX Hum Debugger

Post by DeeKnow » Wed Apr 15, 2020 6:52 pm

I've used one of the SAG outputs in my Pedal Power 2 Plus unit for my EHX Hum Debugger which requires 7.5 volts 400 mA to run - I dialed the output back, the pedal powers up, but doesn't cancel hum in my Telecasters - BTW, it works fine with the factory supplied AC adapter. I considered plugging the adapter into the AC outlet in the back of the unit but I'm using a Pedal Train Classic Jr and there's not enough space for the adapter to access the input with the unit installed under the Pedal Train...suggestions ? Attach a shorty extension from the unit to the adapter? Easiest solution would be run the Hum Debugger direct from the Pedal Power - but how to I get 7.5 v and 400mA? Suggestions? Thanks. Dean

As Hum Debugger requires AC power, it cannot be power from the Pedal Power DC outputs.

However, you can power it from the AC courtesy outlet with its adapter/wall-wart.
