ISO 5 shut down

Post by Jshdlln35 » Thu Oct 17, 2019 7:14 pm

I hooked up a fish man preamp to the iso 5 and ran a direct out cable to a p.a. System without realizing it had phantom power. In result my iso 5 no longer works as well as my fishman preamp. Do I have away of salvaging the iso 5 and or the fishman preamp, or is it a lost cause?

I'm kind of surprised that Phantom Power from the console could have harmed anything here if you were using the XLR DI Output on the preamp. Exactly which model Fishman do you have?

On the ISO-5, is the power LED dead as well as all outputs when the unit is plugged into a mains outlet?

If it really is all dead, feel free to give us a call or write to We can certainly repair just about anything that could have happened to the ISO-5, and I'd be happy to take a look at the preamp if you'd like.

I hope that helps!
