PPL6 vs PPREV for reverse polarity

Post by tintin » Fri Jun 07, 2019 10:29 am

I just bought a Fulltone '69 pedal, and I'm uncertain which power cable to use with the PP2+. According to Fulltone I should use a reverse polarity cable, but Voodoo Labs has 2 different ones - #PPL6 and #PPREV. I already own the PPL6, so it would be great if I could use that one. It fits the pedal, despite being 2.5mm. Anyone have experience with this?

The PPL6 can also be used, but... the 2.1mm Reverse Polarity Barrel Cable, part# PPREV, PPREV-R is the better option as its 2.1mm white end makes a more snug connection with the 2.1mm pin in the pedal's power jack (whereas the PPL6 red end fits 2.5mm).

Cheers!

Thanks, Rez! Sounds like it’s safe to use the red one until I get a #PPREV.
