Re: ground control pro flight case?

Here's a link to an eBay auction for a case similar to the one I use:

http://cgi.ebay.com/CNB-PDC410C-BK-Peda ... 5adfe50605

The dimensions are perfect for the Ground Control Pro, and the price is right, too.

Re: Cabling Question

But I was wondering where I might find ( if even available ) some formed U shaped plugs to connect the side by side out / in of the loops. I remember them from the old HiFi amps that had the option of using the internal or external components. Any thoughts? It's real easy to make these with GeorgeL...

Re: Organizing cables in the back of my rack

Go to the electrical department of your local Lowe's, Home Depot or hardware store and buy some cable tie mounts... http://www.nyteowl.com/0ut/mount.jpg They have adhesive backs, so you can stick them wherever you want on the top, bottom, or sides of your rack. Use cable ties to secure your cabling ...

Re: tap tempo switch schematics

Is this a special schematic, or will an off-the-shelf Tap Tempo switch work?

Also, how does one program an Expression Jack to function with a Tap Tempo switch?

Re: Use midi devices to eliminate some cables?

I'm using 1 cable for a power supply, 2 as MIDI cables, and the last one with dual G-Lines as send/return lines to a volume pedal. I'm not hearing any loss of tone, but then that's just me. YMMV...

Re: 2 preamps one power amp one multi effect with GCX help!!

You might also want to go to the Voodoo Lab Main site and click on the GCX Audio Switcher link on the left side.

At the bottom of the page you'll find a number of signal routing diagrams. Take a look at Number Four.

Re: Use midi devices to eliminate some cables?

Maybe one of these..? http://www.pedalsnake.com Nope. It would still have the same amount of cables for my setup, just in a neat little snake package. You're right about the neat little snake package, but unless I'm misunderstanding what you want to do, wrong about the same amount of cables. Using ...

Re: Stereo Pan, Parallel amps help!

This can actually be done with just two loops. Using the example from nyteowl, simply use the Send from GCX Loop 3 or 4 to feed the mono input of the effect. In order to have both amps active while the tremolo is not active, you will need to use a Y cable as shown to feed the Ins of the two GCX loo...

Re: Volume pedal in a rack system

I'm curious as to what the thinking is behind running Channel 1 of the compressor in Loop 5 and running Channel 2 in Loop 6..?

Will you be running one loop or the other, depending on the preamp you're using at any given time?
