Re: Tap tempo.... G-Force

Hi there, Found this bit in the manual to: STEREO DELAY Time Sets the delay time of both Left and Right channel. Maximum delay time is 740 ms. Tempo The Tempo parameter sets the relationship to the global Tempo e.g. if you set it to 1/4T you will get quarter note triplets of the tapped tempo. 1/4 eq...

Re: Tap tempo.... G-Force

Hi there, I’m pretty sure yours is the same, if it is set to ignore the tap tempo, which is the global setting, will not do anything. This is from the G Force manual: Tempo Set the global tempo by tapping the Tempo key. The global tempo can be used as a common tempo guide in all presets. All Delay a...

Re: Tap tempo.... G-Force

Hi bettsaj, I just tried it on my G Major 2, I had to set in Global, pedal type to momentary, then in Mod, Tap Tempo to Pedal, not learn. I’m wondering if your better to try Pedal in yours to? In the manual it says : When set to any value between 2 and 1/32T, the Global Tempo is subdivided according...

Re: Hex Noise

Hi ctc, Have you tested all your cables to make sure there isn’t a cable that either has a short or has a ring disconnected (as In tip and ring). Sometimes when the ring side of the cable is disconnected this produces what you are saying is happening. I just rewired my rig and had a cable with the R...

Re: Setting up GCX for tri amp and FX loop solution

Hi Henrik, I’m not sure you will be able to do it like you want with what you have here. This is a similar setup that you may have to sort of do but you could use 2 of your amps as power amps, obviously you could do a wet dry wet setup if you have 3 speakers. http://www.voodoolab.com/gcxdiagrams/04-...

Re: Controlling Laney irt studio

Hi there Matt, You won’t be able to do this with a Hex. You can get a Voodoo Labs Control Switcher and a custom cable to do it. http://www.voodoolab.com/controlswitcher.htm You’d have to email them about a Custom cable or make your own. Here’s some info on how to make your own: http://www.rjmmusic.c...

Re: Rack Rewire

Hi there, Have just done another re-jig of the Rack and rewired it. I’ve totally separated the Mesa Recto Recording and the Mesa 2:100 from the rest of the audio signal so that I can have that Raw Recto crunch when I wish. The Sound Sculpture Switchblade 16 has been removed from the system and the R...

Re: Rack on its way

Hi there, I did a re-jig again, I took out the Switchblade 16, they take so much away. Now the whole preamp section can push the power amps harder. It sounds so much better. I have utilised the Rane Mixer again and glad I have, TC Electronic G Major 2 is in the loop of the SM82S. I’ve got the Recto ...

Re: Ground loop - Korg DTR1

I’d not remove the earth from a power cable. Can you open it up and see if there is an earth jumper to remove the earth to chassis from the signal? Or make a patch cable without an earth for the tuner? Run the patch cable through the buffer on your GCX then to your tuner? Run the patch cable through...

Re: PLEASE HELP SETUP 2 GCX's

Hi Geoff,
Here is a good article on pedal placement, as it says though, there is no right or wrong. What’s right is what sounds good to you.
