Re: Jmp1 GSP1101 advice

If you don’t have anything in the other GCX loops, it is possible to do 4 wire, but only if you have effects such as a Reverb, Delay etc that you’d use in effects loop but I’d just use them after both the GSP1101 and the JMP-1 as that is the same as having them in the effects loop. I’d go into the i...

Re: Jmp1 GSP1101 advice

Hi there, I’d just run them as 2 seperate preamps as in the diagram you have there or in loops in series and also have the G Major 2 in a loop, if running mono or 2 loops if running in stereo. The GSP can be ran as either an effects processor or a Preamp. If you don’t want to use the JMP-1, turn tha...

Re: GCP V2 Beta EEprom

Hi there,
I had the GCPro’s the wrong way around to, the GCPro that is set to preset mode, needs to go first, followed by the GCPro set to IA. The GCPro that is set to IA is the one you need to modify the midi power on the plugs internally to. Hope that helps🤷‍♂️.

Cheers Brett

Re: GCP V2 Beta EEprom

Hi bettsaj, I’m running 2 GCPros, I use a Pedal Power AC to power the GCX, which in turn powers both GCPros. I ran jumper wires from the out midi plug to the in midi plug, on the first GCPro to supply power the second GCPro. It has worked fine for the last couple of years. When I first did it, John ...

Re: Control switcher with helix lt & mark V

Hey there,
What amp are you going to be running so that we can help you with what type of cables or custom multi pin/midi type cable you may need.

Cheers Brett

Re: GCP -> GCX & Midi

Hi there, It looks like it should work with how you have it. If you have just Loop 7 on or just Loop 8 on do you get sound? If not you may have a cable not letting the signal through? Do you get sound out of Loop 1 turned on and an Amp in it? If so, put a cable from Loop 1 to Loop 2 and then put an ...

Re: GCX DC Power Consumption

Hi there, I’ve got the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power AC, it has 4 x 9v and 2 x 12 v (either 9 or 12 v can only be used for 2 of the ports). I power 1 GCX, I have 2 and have powered them both, I also have 2 x GC Pro’s running through phantom power off the GCX. I have modified one of the the GC Pro’s so that...

Re: GCP, GCX & Midi

Sorry I forgot this, after you’ve set up the GCX as an expander. Edit your preset, scroll down to GCX 1, the loop you want turned on for that preset is the button you turn the light on for, 1-8, then hit the edit button again and save yes.

That should do it for ya.

Cheers

Re: GCP, GCX & Midi

Hi there, with the GCX you don’t assign a channel, in expanders you turn it on. I’d remove the naming of this device and turn it off in devices. Go to expanders and turn on GCX 1. From the manual: EXPANDERS GCX Guitar Audio Switcher If you have one or more GCX Guitar Audio Switchers, you must enable...
