Re: I´ve got two GCX Switcher & Ground Control units...
The Power Supply is working. I tried the GCPro with a other MIDI Looper and it worked. With the power supply only in GCPro, GCPro will not turn on. It have to have one unit midi with the midi cable connected. I would take this to mean that the power supply is in fact NOT working. If the Ground Cont...

Re: I´ve got two GCX Switcher & Ground Control units...
Power issue: What is the power supply you are using? It should be 9V AC and at least 500mA for the Ground Control Pro. U2Sound-Forum stuff: That is all true, but only if you are NOT using a Ground Control as the controller. As they mention, that guy was using an All Access as the foot controller. As...

Re: Y connectors and Stereo Electric Mistress
The 18/24v Y cable cannot be used in reverse... which is why we make the Split Output Y cable! The Split Output Y cable can be used to power two pedals from a single output as long as the total current draw of the two pedals does not exceed the rated limit for the output used.

Re: Ground Control Pro CC/PC question
There is currently no user definable CC message capability when in 10 Presets per Bank mode. You can enable a GCX that is not being used within the Ground Control Pro and use those CCs if the gear you are controlling is programmable for the CC message and can accept them on MIDI channel 16. GCX-1 = ...

Re: I´ve got two GCX Switcher & Ground Control units...
For the power problem: Are you sure the Power Supply is working? Does it power the Ground Control Pro when no MIDI cables are connected? Have you tried a different MIDI cable out of the first Ground Control Pro? For the GCXs: A single Ground Control Pro can control up to 4 GCX switchers. Have you en...

Re: I´ve got two GCX Switcher & Ground Control units...
Yes, when running two Ground Control Pro units together like this only the second one will receive phantom power, the first one must be powered using the supplied adapter.

Re: Old GCX audio switcher
All models of the GCX respond to MIDI the same way. The only major change to the GCX has been the way the front panel jacks work. An older GCX is labeled "Feedthru 1 and 2" where both of these inputs are buffered. Feedthu 1 will split to both rear panel jacks like the Guitar In on the current model ...

Re: Question about GCX buffered Gutiar In/Out...
The op-amp is located on the PRE/PWR board, directly behind the front panel jacks... you can't miss it. Older units may have the op-amp soldered directly to the board.

Re: Musicom EFX MKII and PP2P
“14.5V/12V (unregulated) at 50mA/200mA+” is expressing the expected voltage with a known current draw. An unregulated power supply has the voltage vary with the load while a regulated supply will keep the same voltage across a wide current range. In this case we are saying that a 50mA load will yiel...
