Re: GCX w/ Bogner Ecstasy

I believe the trick with the Ecstacy is that you actually set the loops controlling the channels to latching (Normal on the GCP) rather than momentary... seems weird I know, but it works. Let us know if that helps or makes things worse.

Re: Ground control and using 2 GCX switchers

This is getting a little out of hand. Lets try to tackle one problem at a time before you go and change a lot of stuff. I need a little clearer description of just the problem you are now having with the GCX#1 not doing what you wish. Is it that the buttons labeled 1-8 are no longer controlling GCX#...

Re: Ground control and 2 gcx switchers

It would appear that the main problem here is that you are not completing the 1/4" connections. The Out of the last loop on GCX#1 has to go to GCX#2 in order to complete the signal path. MIDI does not carry any audio. The expression pedal ports are for MIDI control only, no audio connections should ...

Re: PP2+ & TC Nova Drive

We have recently found that the Nova Drive does draw more current than all the other Nova pedals... Its an overdrive, who would have guessed?!?!

So it appears that the Nova Drive can not be powered by a single output on the Pedal Power 2+.

Re: ground control

The Ground Control Pro can control up to 8 MIDI devices and up to 4 GCX switchers. The 8 Instant Access buttons buttons can be programmed to be any 8 of the 32 total possible loops. All the loops can be programmed to a Ground Control Pro preset, you just pick the 8 things you must have direct "insta...

Re: ground link for pedal on/off

The Ground Link accepts phantom power on Pins 1 and 3 of the GCX Out Jack. If you use a 5 Pin active/wired cable between the Ground Control MIDI Out and the Ground Link MIDI In, then the Ground Control will also be powered. You will want to provide 9VAC @ 500mA(minimum).

Re: ground link for pedal on/off

You already sold the GCX!!!???

Anyway, the Ground Control (Original, v2.0 or higher) manual explains how to re-program the Ground Link buttons in the Expanders section under Setup Mode.

So do you, or do you not have a GCX? 1 post =yes, the other =no.

Re: Lexicon MPX 1 bypass

On the Ground control Pro, you can activate an unused GCX and use its CC numbers to control individual effect bypass. If your processor will allow you to program the CC number, and is able to receive these messages on MIDI channel 16, then this will work for you. I am not sure about how to do this o...

Re: Help! New Guy!

All but the Whammy should be able to be powered from the Pedal Power 2+. The Whammy requires AC, so the solution is to connect the supplied adapter to the Courtesy Outlet on the back of the Pedal Power 2+.

Re: Daisy Chain with Pedal Power 2 Plus?

Not sure what you tried to power but it should at least work for one or two low current pedals. Remember that the Pedal Power 2+ outputs are limited to either 100 or 250mA depending on the output used. Add up the current demand of each pedal and the tuner to find out if you are under the max. It is ...
