Re: Tecnical data and block diagram about the amp selector

Hi everybody, new voodoo lab owner here. I just purchased an amp selector to split the signal of the bass through 5 different audio pro preamps to record the signal directly to my daw. Some of the preamps have a high input impedance ( near 1 Mohm ) and other a not so high input impedance ( near 40 ...

Re: GCX With a Ground controll programing

At this point, the only thing I can think it might be is a bad midi cable to the Whammy. Midi path is actually simple: GCX->M4->Axe->Whammy. I tried having only the Whammy in the MIDI path and it still didn't work. But I used the same cable so that's why I think it's bad. I'll try a different cable...

Re: GCX With a Ground controll programing

Just want to be clear that while i do see the values for the pedal movement change, it still doesn't actually affect the sound. And it seems the program changes I'm sending are getting there either. I have midi out from the GCX to midi in on Egnater M4, midi out from M4 to midi in on Axe FX, midi t...

Re: GCX With a Ground controll programing

OK, I've got the Whammy selected but sending CTL011 to P2 doesn't control the treadle. I guess the digitech manual is wrong. time to trime them one at a time. Thanks though Josh. Dave At the screen where you set the cc# for P1 it shows the value coming from the pedal. Move the expression pedal and ...

Re: GCX With a Ground controll programing

Hi. I'm having trouble doing this very thing. I have a GCP/GCX and for some reason when in EDIT mode on a preset, neither of the 2 expression pedals I have can see the Whammy device. I have 3 devices setup on the GCP: Axe Fx on channel 1, Egnater M4 on channel 5 and the whammy on channel 3. The MID...

Re: Poping or clicking when on/off TC G-Force

Re: Using the Phantom power from the GCX to the GCP and wah?

Hey, is there any chance that i could do something so that i can use the power thru the midi cable with phantom power to power the GCP and a wah pedal? thanks! Yes, it can be done, but you have two issues to resolve. 1. Phantom power to the GCP is 9VAC. You need to convert it to 9VDC for the wah. 2...

Re: Powering a Line6 FM4

Hi Josh! The FM4 handbook mentions two powering methods: 4C size batteries & 9V/AC power supply. Obviously, there are other powering options... My question was: why aren't these other options described in the Line6 documentation? Best regards, Michel This is from the Line6 web site: http://line6.co...

Re: Powering a Line6 FM4

Hello! I'm planning to buy a Line6 FM4. I understand that it can be powered by the PP2+ on outputs 5 or 6, with deepswitch "non-normal" and a 5,5x2,5mm red barrel connecter (reversed). OK. Question: how is it possible, since the power plug on the FM4 mentions: "9VAC 1200mA minimum"???? The PP2+ del...

Re: FuzzFactory in pedal switcher bypassed loop squeels

I spent some time yesterday fiddling around with cables and such. I ended up with a very simple configuration : the pedal switcher and the fuzz factory in loop 2. I used the non-buffered input (I tried different guitar cables) and it also squeals. I tried other loops, to the same effect. As soon as...
