Re: Analogue chorus 9v adapter input

Thnaks for the reply. I want to change it because I think the problem is how tightly the plug fits the hole (there is a bit of movement which I think causes the noise, it might work its way loose while playing) and the barrel seems to provide a tighter fit on my other pedals. I have been using a 1 ...

Re: Trouble connecting Ground Control to GCX Switcher

The old Ground Control only has a "Midi Out". You should be using a standard MIDI cable with 5 pins on each end. Make sure the MIDI cable has all 5 pins wired. They are often labeled as "5 pin active". Some cable makers only wire the 3 pins required for MIDI operation to keep the cost down. Regards...

Re: Analogue chorus 9v adapter input

Gday I have the older chorus, no led and positive tip doe 9 V adapter. Its noisy at the connection point but not on battery. Can the 3.5 plug be changed for the now normal 2.1 barrel? cheer andrew You should be able to replace the power jack with a panel mount barrel jack. I haven't tried it, so it...

Re: Pedal Switcher assigning

I have two pedal switchers which is common I believe, when assigning switcher numbers ie: gcx1 and gcx2, is #1 the first in the midi cabling path ie: out of the gcp to pedal swither #1 and then out to pedal switcher #2 ? The manual doesn't refer to pedal switchers at all. Also one of my pedal switc...

That will work fine. You can also use a Y-cable which combines two 9V outputs in series to get 18V. We have a cable to do this, or you can make your own.

Re: mA question --> 2x9v outputs powering 18v wah

AWESOME thanks Dude705! Voodoo Lab says because the outlets are isolated you can use two 9v outlets together to power one 18v pedal.. I just gathered if you're doubling voltages then you'd be doubling how many mA go into the pedal too. Thanks for the explaination -- makes a lot more sense now!! Daw...

No commitments, but that is likely.

If you need more than 8 instant access buttons, you will need an additional foot controller. We have a solution which is not yet announced.

Re: Ground Control Set Up Question

So I've read the manual all the way through - what I'm wondering is this: I understand that there are 2 basic settings for presets: either 4 presets per bank, or 10 presets per bank. 4 giving you numbers 1-4 as presets and then the eight switches above to control instant access switches to pedals. ...

Re: Tecnical data and block diagram about the amp selector

Every output is easily capable of driving a 40K load ok so I understand that the buffer and the transformers are calculated to not surrender with that load impedance, but what is exactly the output impedaces??? are them a high z like 1 Mohm or maybe a medium z like 100 Kohms??? I see that you don't...
