Re: question about supply for pedals

Any one of these supplies could be used:

Pedal Power X4
Pedal Power ISO-5
Pedal Power 2 Plus

If you might add more pedals in the future, perhaps Pedal Power 2 Plus is the most sensible option.

Re: Boss DD3 Distorting with External Power Supply

Is this an older DD-3 (say... pre-1996)? Because, older (pre - 1996) Boss pedals used a different power supply (ACA type) from newer Boss pedals (PSA type). Usually, when an older ACA Boss pedal is powered at 9VDC (from the external power jack) its LED appears dim. Thus, these older ACA Boss pedals ...

Re: PP2+ and Sony DWZ-B30GB Digital Guitar Wireless

Sure... give it a try. A 12V output might suffice but it may be best to power it from the Pedal Power 2 Plus AC courtesy outlet with its adapter/wall-wart.

A 12V output might suffice but likely it's best would be to power it from the Pedal Power 2 Plus AC courtesy outlet with its adapter/wall-wart

Re: BOSS GE-7 problem

I have the exact same problem with the GE-7. I tried various 9 volt adapters, from my iSpot Pro unit and separate power adapters with same rating. THE UNIT WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT A FULLY CHARGED BATTERY. Question1: Why would BOSS demand a special adapter (ACA-120) when every other pedal can take com...

Re: VL power supply off Mondo courtesy + switcher ground loop

If the pedals fit on top, I'd expect in general, the power would fit underneath.

Put the most of whatever power supplies underneath that you can fit and beyond that get as far as you can using Output Splitter Adapters, part# PPAV. It's a reasonable strategy and quite likley will work nicely.

Re: VL power supply off Mondo courtesy + switcher ground loop

It's perfectly fine to use the AC courtesy outlet as you suggest. To connect with the export model AC courtesy outlet use a type C14 cable/adapter (with the appropriate other end type for your application). Re: Splitter cable ground lifted issue

For both leads of the output splitter to work it is critical is that both effect pedals are connected with the guitar/audio cable, ie: Pedal 1 OUT => IN Pedal 2 Beyond that... perhaps test individually each of the cables being used with the splitter (ie. test them without the splitter) merely to con...
