Re: Power Requirments for Empress Reverb

Hmm... I was under the impression that 9-12VDC was acceptable. Perhaps, I am mistaken. To err on the side of caution, maybe power it instead from the AC courtesy outlet with its adapter/wall-wart . I will attempt to confirm with Empress regarding the use of 12VDC and post here the determination. Als...

Re: Daisy Chain Cabels and Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2

You can daisy chain as you describe. However, I recommend you avoid daisy chaining whenever possible as this is a common way that unwanted noise is introduced into your signal (via ground loops). Instead you might consider using our Output Splitter Adapter, part# PPAV . Our output splitter adapter i...

Re: Power Requirments for Empress Reverb

To power the Empress Reverb with the older Pedal Power 2 (not 2 Plus) use a Current Doubler Adapter, part# PPAP outputs 5 and 6, DIP switches set away from normal and one of the all black (standard polarity) cables supplied.

Re: Seymour Duncan powerstage 170 via courtesy Outlet PPP 2

It's fine to power your Seymour Duncan Powerstage 170 Power Amp from the Pedal Power 2 Plus AC courtesy outlet (note, the wattage labeled by the Powerstage 170 power inlet specifies 55 W).

Cheers!

Re: VL power supply off Mondo courtesy + switcher ground loop

Yes, it's fine to use the AC courtesy outlet as you suggest.

Perhaps Pedal Power ISO-5 would work... it has an 18V output.

Also/FYI, the Pedal Power MONDO and Pedal Power ISO-5 are each, height: 1.8 inches.

Cheers!

Re: question about supply for pedals

Any one of these supplies could be used:

Pedal Power X4
Pedal Power ISO-5
Pedal Power 2 Plus

If you might add more pedals in the future, perhaps Pedal Power 2 Plus is the most sensible option.

Cheers!
