Re: Lost channel when loop off
I'm being stupid... If i use a stereo cable i'll just twist the tip and ring wires together on the mono jack end..

Re: Lost channel when loop off
Right, so if I understand you're saying this... The mistress is a vintage mono pedal. So the output from loop 7 to the input of loop 8 needs to be a mono to stereo Y cable like the one you've drawn. No problem.... i should be able to knock one of those up in no time. Does the cable need to be stereo...

Re: Lost channel when loop off
Just had a thought.... Could it be something to do with the Triaxis FX loop being on? When I turn off loop 8 on the GCX have i got to also turn off the loop on the Triaxis?

Lost channel when loop off
Hi, long time no see..........this is likely one for JohnClark however if anyone can spot any obvious issues with the wiring let me know. i'm having trouble with my GCX. It's not the GCX that's at fault, of that i'm sure. I suspect it's the way its wired but I just can't get my head around it... May...

Re: GCX Switcher Troubleshooting
Both rows of loops should have nuts on them..... I suspect your unit has been repaired at sometime and whoever did it forgot to replace the nuts when they put it back together.
Speak to John Clark, he'll tell you how to get some replacements

Re: Pedal Order Does It matter
Each loop in totally independent to the next, so to connect each loop to the next you have to use a patch cable from one loop to the next loop. This being the case you can in effect split the GXC, say loops 1 thru 4 can be for analogue pedals like distortions etc, with the output of loop 4 going to ...

Re: Amateur Needs Help with Gear Recommendations
It all looks good to me, you will have to order a GCX with a stereo mod on loops 5 thru 8. John Clark would probably be able to help there.
As regards channel switching, yes you will need to account for that on the GCX

Re: Amateur Needs Help with Gear Recommendations
Hi, Firstly, to maintain stereo and run the stereo chorus through the PX8 you will have to use 2 audio loops. Also, the chorus will have to go last in the chain on the PX8. I know with the GCX, Voodoo Lab can convert 4 or all 8 loops to stereo loops, however I'm not sure about the PX8. I don't belie...

Re: Ground Control Pro MIDI sound problems
The midi connections only tell each unit what to change to, they have no bearing on the sound per say..... Therefore it has to be something to do with the setting of the POD, or the audio connections. Is it all connected for stereo, or mono... I'm not sure what it could be, but it might be worth loo...

Re: TC G-Force
Thanks for this John..... I'll give it a try this weekend.
i used to have g-major, and it was so much easier to get things done.... The G-Force is much more programmable and flexible, and there lies the issue. You have to program everything into it that is pre-set in the G-major.
