Re: Tap tempo.... G-Force

It all sounds easy...... In theory I'll follow your instructions to the letter john and report back. Many thanks for this, you're a star :-) And that goes to all others... I love the G-Force and have recently been diving deep into how this thing works and it's a phenomenal piece of kit... The best £...

Re: Tap tempo.... G-Force

thanks guys.... Marlboro05. I'll recheck all my settings.... I'm sure it's something simple. The G-Force isn't that far removed from the G-Major2 so some of the settings will be the same I suspect. When i set it to learn, and tap the pedal it identifies the pedal and sets it to pedal. What I haven't...

Tap tempo.... G-Force

Before anyone say anything I know this isn't the TC Electronic forum... I've posted there also but thought I'd cover all bases as you guys here are very knowledgeable, and may have come across this issue before. Simple issue, with hopefully a simple solution. I have built a simple tap tempo pedal us...

Re: Expression pedal madness

I do have insert cables on both, but home made. I think I colour coded the tip mono plug RED but i'll have to check and see with a multimeter. I'll recheck the cables tonight and report back..... Hopefully it's something simple

Expression pedal madness

I have a GCP, with 2 Ernie Ball volume pedals wired as expression pedals plugged into the pedal inputs of the Ground Control. one pedal is set to CTL014 and the other is set to CTL015. Now on my G-Force I have a Ext 1 set to "Midi Basic" and Control no 14, and Ext 2 also set to midi basic but this i...

Re: Ground loop - Korg DTR1

John, the ISO transformer works perfectly, I plugged it in and it cleaned up the signal so all I have is the sound of a guitar. The rack rails are already isolated from the ears, with nylon washers. I've tried everything and after i looked on the net it's quite apparent that the DTR1 is a ground loo...

Re: Ground loop - Korg DTR1

I've done the sensible thing and got a Behringer HD400 Hum Destroyer HD400.... I had a fiddle with the DTR1 and pulled the cable from GCX loop 1 send to the DTR1 input and the ground loop disappeared. I'll place the hum eliminator between the DTR1 input and the GCX send, that should solve my problem...

Ground loop - Korg DTR1

I have a very annoying ground loop on my rack, it's being caused by a korg DTR1 rack tuner. I've looked on the internet and it appears to be a common issue with the DTR1 and DTR2 tuners. I've connected the send on loop 1 of the GCX to the input of the tuner and not connected the return of loop 1, th...

Re: GCP --> GCX Instant Access question

To have chorus on preset 2 when you switch you are correct in saying that you'd have to set it to be on when you select that preset, that's if you have XMIT with preset selected. If XMIT with preset isn't selected it won't change when you change presets, which I believe is what you're looking for
