Re: PLEASE HELP SETUP 2 GCX's
Thanks for all the advice I'm just waiting to get everything setup. The last question I had was do I need to connect the GCX's with another MIDI cable? Or will I be able to control the GCX #2 with just a regular patch cable from the guitar/pedal loops Since guitar cables do not carry MIDI informati...

Re: Effect in multiple paths
I need to make a better documentation too. Not only the signal path diagram, but the MIDI and POWER connections too. I have all hand drawn like the diagram above. I will update the docs and send again when i finish, ok? Do you know some software that i can make these diagram easily? Have you gone t...

Re: How to connect GCX + GCP + TASCAM TA 1VP + Behringer FX2000
Good morning, and welcome, Connecting your TA 1VP and FX2000 is fairly straightforward. Just connect the GCX MIDI OUT to the FX2000 MIDI IN, and the FX2000 MIDI OUT to the TA 1VP MIDI IN. This will allow you to control both via your GCPro. Next step is to connect the FX2000 to your GCX, in a loop t...

Re: Effect in multiple paths
That's a ton of pedals, amigo, and I can see why it's such a daunting task sussing out how to properly connect them all. Since I've been out of this game for more than a few years now I'm going to defer to John's wisdom, but if you haven't already considered it, making all the GCX specific connecti...

Re: Effect in multiple paths
I hear what you're saying about that $2K price tag, which was the primary reason I went with a Voodoo Lab GCPro/GCX package back in the day. However, Switchblade GLs can be found on the used market (Craig's List, eBay, Reverb) for less, and sometimes even half that much, if one is patient. Let us k...

Re: Effect in multiple paths
As long as I've been using Voodoo Lab products, I've learned they are sometimes not the best tools for the job when it comes to complicated rigs such as yours. All things considered, in a case like this I suspect the SoundSculpture GL might be a better option for routing your signal, for the simple...

Re: switching Hook 34 (boutique) Amp Control Switcher
As per the Control Switcher manual: " Control Switcher receives MIDI commands from Ground Control Pro, Commander, or other MIDI foot controller to turn individual switches on or off, and recall preset combinations of switch settings. " In other words, the Control Switcher accepts incoming MIDI comm...

Re: PLEASE HELP SETUP 2 GCX's
If you feed the Tuner from the rear panel Feedthru, you will only need one cable. Rear Panel Feedtru on GCX -> Tuner Input. Nothing connects to the Tuner Output. Alternatively, if you were to put your tuner first in your signal chain, and connect the Loop1 Send jack to the Tuner Input without makin...

Re: Effect in multiple paths
My apologies, though I'm not sure what connections I missed, but in your original post you did say you wanted the "removable effect" in two positions. Your latest post, however, says you want it in three locations. which certainly does change things quite a bit, but as long as you're on the right t...
