Re: GCX/GCP + G-Major 2 IA buttons

GM2 is hit or miss. It’s super in-depth with effect parameter control but some of the effects are lackluster. I use quite a bit of delay, I have a DD6 on the floor but I hate resetting knobs so I just use it for certain stuff and the GM for others. I already replaced its filter and mod section with ...

Re: Stacking Midi Devices

Thanks for all the input, I am most definitely going: GCP Midi Out > GCX Pedal In GCX Midi Out > G•Major 2 Midi In G•Major 2 Midi Thru > Whammy DT Those Y cable splitters work just fine right? Of course I may add another midi device down the road (although I can’t seem to fathom why at this point) s...

Re: Stacking Midi Devices

I’m trying to go off memory, so I may have mislabeled something. My rig is at our rehearsal space.
I’m happy to hear I can do my programming on my GCP for the Mod Rex. Thank you for the information.

Re: GCX/GCP + G-Major 2 IA buttons

Wow, yeah it definitely sounds like you had a faulty system. You’re running pretty much the same as mine, although my 4 patch buttons are setup for presets, my presets all go back to a quiet clean tone and I run effects and stomps individually with the IA, only so live I can call up the preset befor...

Re: GCX/GCP + G-Major 2 IA buttons

Did you get this figured out? I have mine setup with a G Major 2 as well and I have stomps in my GCX loops. 1-GMajor Filter 2-GMajor Mod 3-GMajor Delay 4-GMajor Reverb 5-OpAmp Big Muff 6-OCD 7-Laney Amp channel 8-Tuner Mute I don’t use Pitch because I have a Whammy DT on the floor that I use Midi to...

Stacking Midi Devices

My current rig consists of a GCX, Ground Control Pro, G Major 2 and a Whammy DT. My Midi map is: GCX Midi In - G Major 2 Midi Out GCX Midi Out - Whammy DT Midi In GCX Pedal Out - Ground Control Pro I recently purchased an Electro Harmonix Mod Rex and unsure on where I plug the “Midi In” from? The GM...

GCX, GCP, and Delay spillover

Ok, I'll be here pretty often in the next few weeks as I get my rig setup. I come up with a possible issue and wondering if there is a way to fix or work around. I use a lot of delay, my current board consists of a Boss DD-6, Nova Delay and I use the delay function on my H20 as well, there are times...

Re: GCX, GCP, and whammy dt

Thank you for clearing that up. I was a little disheartened when I learned, by reading this forum, that I cannot control the whammy pedal function with an expression on the floor board, which led to me to figuring out how to cable it up. Well, at least I know what I gotta do now, I can't wait to use...

GCX, GCP, and whammy dt

Hello, new to the board and everything midi. I've gone years with a stompbox surfboard and over the last year have been purchasing and planning my switch to audio switching and midi. I recently purchased a DMC GCX and VL GCP. I'm working on buying the cables needed to get everything up and running a...
