Re: Which power supply to choose?

The Pedal Power Mondo would be the best fit for this list of pedals. The PT-100, JH-1, TS-9DX, CH-1, CS-3, DD-3, GE-7, OC-3, and TR-3 can each be powered from any 9V Output to the Left or from any of Outputs 1-8 to the Right with the corresponding DIP Switches set to Normal. The MEL-9 and RC-20XL ca...

Re: Dual GCX, single control switcher, ground control and disappointment

OK, so your original Ground Control (I'd guess about 25 years old!) does need an update in order to control multiple GCXs. This ability was introduced with the v2 Firmware launched in the mid 90's. Your older GCX may also need an update to be able to be used in a multi GCX setup. The way to know wha...

Re: PX-8 Plus with Eventide H9

It didn't work like that for me. I had to assign which PX-8 preset would recall the desired H9 preset from within the H9. Select Pedal>MIDI Settings>Program Change receive map - there you will find all the H9's saved presets in a list and you can choose the which PX-8 preset you want to assign it t...

Re: Dual GCX, single control switcher, ground control and disappointment

Do you have the original 12 button Ground Control OR the 15 button Ground Control Pro?

Re: Boss SY-300 and PX-8 Plus

The PX-8 Plus, by default, should recall the first 36 "User Presets" in the SY-300... so basically, yes, it should work much the same way where you will hit a preset on the PX-8 Plus, then set your SY-300 to how you would like it to sound and save to the currently loaded SY-300 Preset location. I sho...

Re: New amp (BE 50 Deluxe) and contemplating control switcher

Here is how it would work... Clean = HEX #1 Loop 1 OFF (here it doesn't matter what HEX #2 Loop 1 is set to since only the Clean Channel is Active) Dirty 1 = HEX #1 Loop 1 ON/ HEX #2 Loop 1 OFF Dirty 2 = HEX #1 Loop 1 ON/ HEX #2 Loop 1 ON It should be that you will use the Out of Loop 1 on each HEX....

Re: PX-8 Plus with Eventide H9

The PX-8 Plus will not control the EXP Jack on the El Capistan. However, you could use our Control Switcher with a custom cable to perform that task, and the Control Switcher can be controlled by the PX-8 Plus via MIDI.

Re: New amp (BE 50 Deluxe) and contemplating control switcher

Loop 1 on the HEX Switcher is isolated from Loops 2-6 just for this sort of thing. If you had two HEX switchers you could control the amp using Loop 1 from each HEX. For instance, Loop 1 on HEX #1 could select between Clean and Dirty, and Loop 1 on HEX #2 could select between the 2 Dirty channels. Y...

Re: Using a Dingbat and a Amp Selecter for a wet/dry/wet setup

I'm not sure I completely follow your signal path, so forgive me if I'm missing something here. ;) The Amp Selector has two Inputs. When only Input A is used, the signal can be sent to all four amp Outputs. When both Inputs are used, Input A can only be sent to Amp Outputs 1 & 2, and Input B can onl...

Re: Current Doubler Adapter cable (p/n PPAP)

Hi all, I'm a french user. Sorry for the bad English. I use the Voodoo Labs power supplies for my boards and rack systems, but as you don't have a rackmount unit (shame on you…), I use a Furman PL+CE, a Palmer PWT06 (6x1A outputs 8/12/18V) and an old Rocktron Power Station : 2A 9VAC (6 outputs) + 4...
