Re: Ground control pro power supply

The Ground Control Pro will in fact accept 9VAC or 9VDC power and should have about a 500mA minimum when using a generic type power adapter. However, if you will be ultimately phantom powering over the MIDI Out cable you may want to consider running 9VAC since AC power won't suffer the same Voltage ...

Re: Tap tempo.... G-Force

OK so I got this set up here on a G-Force I have here. 1. Simply connecting the pedal switch to the External Control jack on the rear panel and pressing the button on the pedal makes the G-Force front panel "Pedal" LED flash. (I too have a Momentary button connected so it does also flash at the butt...

Re: Hex Noise

Will you ultimately be using any of Loops 2-6 in this setup? Loop 1 is isolated from the rest of the loops as well as from the chassis ground, so using it completely by itself may in-fact be the problem. As silly as it sounds, if you will only be using a single switchable loop in this setup, try rou...

Re: Tap tempo.... G-Force

I think that the G-Force correctly identifies the pedal when in Learn mode and even shows activity on the display when pressing the button means that the switch and its wiring is fine. The Latching/Momentary setting should match the switch type you have used. However, having this set wrong won't mak...

Re: Controlling Laney irt studio

Yes, the Commander will control both a HEX and a Control Switcher to give you 10 presets that select effects and set the amp functions at the same time. In this setup, both the HEX and the Control Switcher would be set to receive MIDI Program Changes on MIDI Channel 1. Programming your sounds would ...

Re: Setting up GCX for tri amp and FX loop solution

We can't really accomplish all the goals here at once. Individually we can do any of these things... effects switching, sharing loop effects, amp selection, and amp function switching. But, doing all of this at once would likely take more loops than you have available with even two GCXs. For instanc...

Re: Controlling Laney irt studio

This is correct... to control the IRT Studio you would need the Control Switcher. The footswitch jack on the IRT Studio is actually wired exactly the same as our Multi jack so you wouldn't necessarily need a custom made cable as a standard MIDI Cable (with all 5 pins wired) will work. The HEX can st...

Re: What does a blinking led on the X4 mean?

The fast blinking LED indicates that the Voltage detected at the X4 Input is low. In this case I'd say it is certainly your 33' extension cable looks to be the cause since it will have a not-insignificant Voltage Drop across the cable. What gauge wire did you use for your extension cable? Typically,...

Re: Control switcher

If the Control Switcher isn't saving the preset it indicates that it didn't first receive a MIDI Program Change on its assigned MIDI Channel, or it simply isn't set up to respond to Program Change yet. We can help get you going, but we will need to know two things first... 1. Is your Control Switche...
