Re: Custom Audio Electronics RS-10 and GCX

To make it all work you will need a chip for the second GCX that will force it to respond to a different set of Control Change messages.
Give us a call or write to info@voodoolab.com to order a GCX #2 chip.

I hope that helps!

Re: GCP pedal as external footswitch

The Expression Pedal jacks are inputs intended to accept a pedal and turn its action into MIDI data. In order to control your amp via MIDI you could use two unused GCX loops or you would need something like our Control Switcher. An Insert Point cable should be all you need to connect either the GCX ...

Re: Boss ES-5 and Ground Control Pro

The The Ground Control Pro can be set to receive MIDI Program Change messages from the ES-5 that will remotely recall Ground Control Pro presets. Look to the "Receive Program Change" section in MIDI under Setup Mode in the Ground Control Pro manual to get the Ground Control Pro programmed. Look to t...

Re: 2 Channel Triple Rectifier+GCX/GCP+G Major 2+Pedals noob

Oh I assumed you wanted the parallel loop... I guess I don't remember if all the dual channel Rectifiers had the parallel loop to begin with. I see I completely missed where you clearly said you wanted it modded to series... What type of effects will you be using from the G-Major 2? A Paralle...

Re: 2 Channel Triple Rectifier+GCX/GCP+G Major 2+Pedals noob

Right on! So it looks like the only thing really changing is the number of switchable option on your amp. The Two Channel Triple Rectifiers have only a Channel Select jack and a FX Loop On/Off jack for the external Switching. These only require the Out of an unused GCX Loop to be connected in order ...

Re: 2 Channel Triple Rectifier+GCX/GCP+G Major 2+Pedals noob

Is the 2 Channel Amp replacing the 3 Channel Amp OR are you adding the 2 Channel Amp to the existing rig?

Re: GCP V2 Beta EEprom

If just getting the all IA mode is what you want then only the one v2BETA chip will be needed. A v2BETA Ground Control Pro in All Instant Access mode will respond to MIDI Program Changes from any MIDI Controller.

I hope that helps!

Re: My sparkle drive hates me!!

Wow!

How are you powering the Sparkle Drive?
Does it do the same thing on a battery?

If it’s still noisy like that on a battery, give us a call or write to info@voodoolab.com so we can arrange for an inspection/repair.

I hope that helps!

Re: HEX problem with MIDI controller

Sorry you’re having trouble here. As a test, try sending only the Program Change message. That you see the loops flash on the off immediately suggests that perhaps you are sending conflicting data... a PC that turns some loops on, but a string of CCs that turn them all off. Also, feel free to give u...
