Re: VL power supply off Mondo courtesy + switcher ground loop

It's perfectly fine to use the AC courtesy outlet as you suggest. To connect with the export model AC courtesy outlet use a type C14 cable/adapter (with the appropriate other end type for your application). Re: Splitter cable ground lifted issue

For both leads of the output splitter to work it is critical is that both effect pedals are connected with the guitar/audio cable, ie: Pedal 1 OUT => IN Pedal 2 Beyond that... perhaps test individually each of the cables being used with the splitter (ie. test them without the splitter) merely to con...

Re: PPL6 vs PPREV for reverse polarity

The PPL6 can also be used, but... the 2.1mm Reverse Polarity Barrel Cable, part# PPREV, PPREV-R is the better option as its 2.1mm white end makes a more snug connection with the 2.1mm pin in the pedal's power jack (whereas the PPL6 red end fits 2.5mm).

Re: Splitter cable ground lifted issue

Try testing the pedals with also the guitar/audio cables attached:

Guitar => Pedal 1 => Pedal2 => Amp

Re: Pedal Power 4x4, Effectrode Mercury and Kingsley Jester V2

Unfortunately, both cannot be powered from the 12VDC outputs. Specifications on the Effectrode website indicate that the Mercury Tube Fuzz requires 12VDC and about 600mA . As such, one or the other could be powered using the two 12VDC outputs and a Current Doubler Adapter, part# PPAP , but... not bo...

Re: EHX Nano Pog with PP2+

To power the Nano POG with Pedal Power 2 Plus, use any output, DIP switch set normal and one of the all black (standard polarity) cables supplied.

Re: Old Voodoo Lab power supply

Specification for Pedal Power (original/earliest model):

With the DIP switch in the ON position (away from the number), all 8 outputs supply 9VDC @ 80mA.

With the DIP switch in the OFF position (towards the number), all 8 outputs supply 12.3 VDC @ a little less than 80mA.

Cheers!
