Re: Daisy Chain Cabels and Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2

The Output Splitter, part# PPAV is merely an adapter (used together with the cables) which plugs into an individual 9V output converting it into two 9V outputs... secondary cables for connecting from the outputs of the adapter are still required in order to connect the effect pedals. And, using an o...

Re: 2current doublers on a 4x4

Yes... and also you can simplify a bit more: As is typical for a wah pedal, the actual current draw of the Dunlop Mister Crybaby is low (likely in the .5-10mA range). Thus, a 9VDC standard current capacity (100m) can be used (freeing one high current capacity output for something else, should it be ...

Re: Can you please recommend a power brick for this setup?

Indeed, nothing for the Yamaha THR10X, but for the other two any one of these could be used: Pedal Power ISO-5 Pedal Power X4 Pedal Power 2 Plus To power the Morley Vai-2 Wah use any 9VDC output with one of the all black (standard polarity) cables supplied. To power the Whammy DT use a 9VDC high cur...

Re: T-Rex Room-Mate hum with Pedal Power 2 Plus

No. When using a current doubler the outputs must be the same voltage (both 9V or both 12V), as combining different voltage outputs with a current doubler could create problems and even risk of damage. If neither of the previous configurations work to your satisfaction, powering it from the AC court...

Re: Can I power a Line 6 Helix HX with Voodoo Lab?

No, as outputs 5 and 6 are 250mA capacity each, combining them as such will not suffice to power the HX (two 400mA outputs are necessary).

However, you can certainly power it from the Pedal Power 2 Plus AC courtesy outlet with its adapter!

Re: Wrong AC Power Cord for VOODOO LAB Pedal Power 2 PLUS

Yes.

As long as it's a 220-240VAC model (and not a 120VAC model), merely swapping the power cord is sufficient and it is fine to use in Italy, UK and or other 220-240VAC regions too.

Cheers!

Re: T-Rex Room-Mate hum with Pedal Power 2 Plus

The expectation based on its specifications, is that powered as you suggest it should work fine. But, as confirmed by a variety of similar feedback from others too, it seems this is not always the case. Have you tried with BOTH the DIP switches 5 and 6 set instead to the NORMAL 9VDC position? Any be...
