Re: Mutliple amps effects loops, one pedalboard.

Very impressive. Thanks for looking into this. The only concerns I have, well besides going cross eyed from your post, is that adding amps is not as scalable as I thought it would be. Also, this method leaves out switching effects that run in front of the amps. I have to give it some thought but it'...

Re: Mutliple amps effects loops, one pedalboard.

I would like to be able to do that. I would like to switch between them with the guitar and effects switching to each amp.

Re: Mutliple amps effects loops, one pedalboard.

No I do not. I used to have one (actually two) when I ran a rack setup and thought it was really good. The GCP was awesome as well. I downsized to a pedalboard for live use but for my home studio, I have multiple rigs and want to be able to easily switch between them. I figured the GCX would be a go...

Re: Mutliple amps effects loops, one pedalboard.

Sorry about that. As of now it's three amps but could be more in the future. The effects will not be controlled by the GCX. I want my pedalboard to be a central hub for the effects, all control will be done on the board. Basically, choose which amp sends the signal to the pedalboard and return that ...

Mutliple amps effects loops, one pedalboard.

Hi,

I have been trying to figure this out and not sure if it's possible. I have multiple amps with effects loops and I want to be able to switch which amp loop is going through my pedalboard.

Is this at all possible with the GCX?

Thanks.

PP Digital and T-Rex Roommate + Eventide Pitchfactor

Hi,

So the T-Rex Roommate looks like it can easily be powered off the PP Digital using a 12v outlet, correct? But I thought the Eventide Pitchfactor required 500 - 600ma? It's 400ma each outlet so this can't be powered or can it and I am missing something?

Thanks!

Re: GCX + long cable runs = another buffer somewhere?

The pedal board is simple. Guitar -> 10ft cable -> tuner -> 6" patch -> wah pedal -> 15ft cable -> GCX buffer. These pedals are true bypass.

I may add a volume pedal at some point.

GCX + long cable runs = another buffer somewhere?

Ok, I haven't tested anything yet, cables are on the way. But with all my pedals I am looking at well over a 100ft of cable. With my pedalboard, I have about 30ft of cable before I hit the GCX buffer. Then, I have 8.5 ft of cable for each loop so that's 68 ft of cable! The first 4 loops will be in f...

Re: Engl E530, Peavey 6505+, GCX

How do you feed all the effects post preamp then?

I figured it would be something like this:

Engl -> gcx loop 1
Delay -> gcx loop 2
Reverb -> gcx loop 3 -> out goes to loop return on 6505+

I should mention, I haven't tried the setup yet. Preamp should be here soon.
