PP2+ DIP Switches

Can anyone please tell me what the PP2+ DIP Switches do? The manual talks about leaving them in the normal position, or away from normal, but it doesn't say what away from normal does. Any ideas?

Re: Cabling with rack drawers

Thx nyteowl. That’s the same drawer I bought. So cabling this as you say sounds well organized, and would require custom length cables for every connection (including audio, power and midi) to keep it neat and tidy. Are you ordering all these cables from a custom shop to length (yikes, that’s a lot ...

Cabling with rack drawers

My current rig has evolved to have my effects (Falange/chorus, tremolo, and delay) mounted vertically on the face of an 8U shallow rack set on top of my amp. This way I can easily tweek knobs without going down to the floor. I control them with a midi foot controller. Until recently, my pedals have ...

Re: Hex Noise No More

I troubleshot this with Ben on Friday and we determined that loops two through four were not working and decided to exchange it. New unit works seamlessly, quietly, and wonderfully. Thx for your help.

Re: Hex Noise

It’s a Mesa Mark V. With all of the effects in the effects loop, it works like a dream. If I disconnect them all and plug one effect (Moog MF-104m) into the Hex connected to the effects loop (I don’t have enough chords for the others yet) It doesn’t work. The compressor in loop 1 of the Hex into the...

Re: Hex Noise

Good call Brett. Thx John. When I connect a 2nd pedal to one of the other loops, and connect the In & Out to the amp's Send & Receive there is no noise at all. I mean it is beautiful quiet. But I must be missing something. When I engage the loop that the effect is in, and the amp's effects loop, the...

Re: Hex Noise

Good idea Marlboro05.

I just tested my cables with a simple connectivity meter and found all tip to tip and ring to ring connections good.

Hex Noise

I've added a Hex to my Midi enabled guitar rig and the added noise is unbearable. Guitar > Wah > Hex Loop 1 In > Loop 1 Out > Amp In. A compressor is connected to Hex Loop 1 SND & RTN. There are no cords plugged into Hex Loop 2 IN, Loop 6 Out, and every jack in between. With the guitar humbucker sel...

New Pedal Power Product Suggestion: Eccentric

I have a suggestion for a new pedal power product. Take all of the power requirements for the pedals that folks are asking about in the forum for which you currently don't have a supply, and distill and combine them into a new Pedal Power called Eccentric. Everybody's got a a few… I'll add 13 V to 1...

Re: Power Mopho with Mondo?

Bummer, DSI support said that an unregulated 12v may damage the Mopho.

So, unless I am missing something Voodoo Lab doesn't make a supply for 13v to 15v!?
