Re: Ground control pro

The other I went to play with my rig and got this ## on gcp and now it won't work with midi I can power it up with power supply but get nothing with midi When it's powered up with a power supply, does it still control your GCX and/or other MIDI devices? First trouble-shooting step would be to swap ...

Re: GCX/Ground Control Pro Noise issue

Based on what you wrote, your noise isn't coming from your GCX or GCPro, but is obviously being generated by whatever Overdrive pedal you're using, as you've already proved taking it out of your signal chain eliminates the noise. Given that, you could try substituting a different OD pedal to see if...

Re: Gcx and stereo rig sound issues

My apologies. I completely overlooked the issue of converting your signal from Mono to Stereo after the TS-9, and as already mentioned, the Palmer Y-Box is not the right tool for that job. Instead, you'll need to run the last device of your Mono signal chain into a Stereo device of some sort to con...

Re: Gcx and stereo rig sound issues

I'm guessing you want the Wah and TS9 first in your signal chain, before your signal hits the amps, yes? ...and the Control Switcher is being used to change channels on your amps, correct? Unfortunately, I cannot create a diagram right now, but based on my guesses, here are a few suggestions to get...

Trying to hook up four stomps front of amp g major back of the amp the problem is channel switching on my carvin legacy it just wants to turn on the reverb not switch channels
How are you trying to change Legacy channels, via the GCPro or via the G-Major Relays?

Re: Ground Control Pro with Line 6 M5

Can't seem to get the M5 to respond? I changed the M5 unit to Chnl2 (I use chnl 1 for my Mesa). I programmed a instant access to call up Midi channel 2 CC 002 which should pull up the analog chorus patch but with no effect? Am I missing something? Also if I get the patches to change on the M5 how c...

Re: Expanding possibilities - More loops required

I'm looking at expanding the amount of loops by buying a small 4 loop audio switcher like a HEX (expensive) or a G-lab (cheaper) so i can expand my possibilities. This leads onto another question..... If I plugged a HEX or G-Lab into the loop out of the GCX do they need to be on the same midi chann...

Re: GCX / mute send for parallel routing / question

Something you wrote in a previous post has me curious: " The reason I feel I need parallel routing is because of the bad interaction of reverb into delays. The delays get wiped out and if I were to put the G major at the tail end of the signal chain; whatever flanger, phaser, or tremolo I use might...
