Re: 4x4 and Rocktron Midi Raider problem

I contacted Rocktron about this. Here's my exchange: Rocktron: The Raider requires AC not DC. It should have 9VAC and at least 1000ma of current. Me: It powers up with my 4x4. Would that create a problem doing that? Rocktron: It will starve it for current and may blow the 4x4. I plugged one wire fro...

4x4 and Rocktron Midi Raider problem

At my last gig last weekend, my Rocktron midi controller stopped working. I have it powered through the 4x4 on three 9V 400 mA outputs. It's been fine for months until now. When I got it home, I used the Rocktron adapter to see if it's the controller, but it powered up fine. When I looked at the 4x4...

Question about combining multiple power outputs

I have a Rocktron Midi Raider that draws 1100 mA. I plugged it into a 400 mA output on my 4x4 and it fired up. Don't know how well it would work at that so I want to know if you can combine three 400 mA outputs to get 1200 mA like you can use a doubler? Is there any harm in that?

Thanks for your time, John. Looks like the CS and 4x4 are my next purchases.

Re: Need help midi switching Rivera

That's a big help. So I can wire a stereo cable to the pins of the functions that I want to use and plug those into the 1/4" sockets on the Control Switcher. Four functions is all I need so this is the perfect solution for me. Thanks much!

Re: Need help midi switching Rivera

Yes, it has two 8 pin din jacks that gets 6 functions, but I can live with 4. Someone on the forum a couple years ago had a number of posts with the same setup but there were little to no details how to do this. Seems he was using a couple of 1/4" breakout cables into a Control Switcher to make it w...

Need help midi switching Rivera

I've been reading some info here about setting up a Rivera S120 for midi switching capable of getting 4 switching functions using the Control Switcher. It seems I need a breakout cable from the Rivera's 8 pin din to 1/4" inputs. Does anyone have a diagram what I need to wire one up myself or does VL...
